Kemal Olcay Özceylan

Hello, I’m Kemal Olcay Özceylan. I was born in Bandırma in 1997. Since I was little, I have always loved producing things and pushing the boundaries of my imagination. Since I had a background in databases in high school, I continued in this field at university.

Later, I started doing graphic design work. While taking on small freelance jobs, the idea of a desk job and spending long hours in front of a computer started to feel unappealing to me.

Being immersed in the digital world from a young age and growing up with computer games influenced my perspective on character designs and the tattoos on them. My interest in tattoos started first with curiosity; over time, this curiosity turned into a personal form of expression.

While working as a waiter at a café, I met Batuhan Öter, who became my biggest supporter and guide on this path. Actually, my tattoo adventure began right there on that day; I just wasn't aware of it yet.

Today, I see tattooing as an art that transfers people's stories and characters onto the skin. In every work, I aim to present aesthetics, balance, and meaning together; focusing on producing original designs that leave lasting marks.

I have completed my 8th year in the sector. For the first 5 years, I mainly produced micro-realism and color works. For the last 3 years, I have focused on fine line, geometric, and micro-realism styles, which I continue to do. Producing in this style makes me feel much better and allows me to create more original, personal designs.
